Spike: Powerful Rails Log Parsing on the Mac

In Tools

spike-512_icon.png Spike is a log file parser application for the Mac that gives you some powerful features for working through your Rails log files - it was developed by British Rails and Mac developer Matt Mower. Spike is open source, so if Cocoa / Objective C are your bag, you can customize it to your heart's content. Check out the code on Github.

If you want to learn more, Matt's put together a 5 minute video demonstration (in HD, if you click through instead of watching it here) of the main features of Spike. He demonstrates opening a log file, browsing through requests, and other features.

Support from: Brightbox; - Europe's leading provider of Ruby on Rails hosting. Now with Phusion Passenger support, each Brightbox server comes with access to a managed MySQL cluster and redundant SAN storage. Brightbox also provides managed services for large scale applications and dedicated clusters.
