It's RailsConfing in Baltimore - June 7-10, 2010

In Events

baltymory.pngThe circus is falling down on its knees, the big top is crumbling down.. The venue for the forthcoming RailsConf 2010 conference has been announced: Baltimore, Maryland - a city allegedly named after someone with a hunger for curry.

If you thought you were going to get a rest from the temperatures of Las Vegas in May, think again - Baltimore has an average high in June of 86F (30C) (just 2F lower than Vegas in May) and a higher average nighttime temperature. So Balitmore's similar to Vegas but with more water, less to do and cheaper beer.

Sadly you can't register for RailsConf 2010 yet. The call for participation doesn't open until November 2009 and the early registration isn't open till February 2010. This is a great opportunity to pencil the event into your calendars though. Follow @railsconf on Twitter if you want to keep up to date with conference related news.

While I do not think that Baltimore has anything, anything at all in common with Vegas. This does sound like fun. I will be following at @railsconf.
